ACTIVITY 3- Social Cognitive Theory

As a teacher I have come to recognize that in my silence my students are learning from me even more so in my speech or actions.  A teacher is then a model of certain ideals.  Teaching incorporates both passive and active components that influence children's concept of school and who they are as a learner.  A teacher must therefore always engage in reflection to ensure that he or she is on the cutting edge of the dynamics surrounding the relationship between teaching and learning.
