Group 1B-3- Activity 5 - Reflection

It may almost appear as though integration and computer literacy is looking like a big job.  However, it is not an impossible task.  By setting a time line for geting started, and as educational systems prepare to accept this new wave , there will be the need to assess where the educational system is at and assess the educational trends as it relates to ICT-then strategize.  Then ascertain from the technical staff in what areas ICT training is required and begin to source assistance from educational consultants who can begin the wheel turning in the direction of ICT incorporation.      The MOE in Antigua has begun to  follow this path in getting technical staff and teachers computer literate , that is, training in how ICT can be applicable and realistic in the learning setting.  Since technology is the language of the age, I guess it is safe to say that for where educational systems are concerned, it is not a question of if they will think of incorporating ICT in schools, but rather a matter of when.
